Natural Cookery School
When Chef Erin Baker found that people were flocking to her cookery classes at Woodruffs, Britain’s first wholly organic café, she realised that opening her own school was the obvious next step.
But she was missing one key element: a location. So Erin started the Natural Cookery School as a mobile venture, bringing her heartfelt, wholesome cooking style into people’s homes and showing them how to feel comfortable in the kitchen, and how to select and combine the very best local and global ingredients in exciting and perfectly balanced dishes.
Word quickly spread and soon the classes had waiting lists. Cookery parties, demonstrations and vegetarian catering carried Erin’s passion and teaching into the community, and the school blossomed and diversified. Today, Erin regularly hosts classes at her state-of-the-art kitchen in Nailsworth, and has brought together a team of professionals who share her passion for cooking, for teaching, and for sharing.
Natural Cookery School Collaborations
Erin often takes part in collaboration nights with pubs and restaurants that offer themed supper clubs. They vary from five course banquets to Erin’s beloved Pad Thai Noodle Bar, and Meat Free Mondays. Erin also works with charities, councils, and groups such as the WI providing demonstrations, meals and workshops. If you’d like Erin to do a demonstration for your group, please get in touch.
