Join Erin for an evening of improv cooking of simple, healthy and deliciuos dishes based on veg from her allotment and the best local vegetable farmers. We will be cooking without recipes creating dishes that are healthy, delicious and using what is at hand. Drawing on 25 years of experience as a plant based chef, Erin will teach you how to cook as she does when she is at home with a stocked pantry and veg that needs using.
This class is aimed at making you confident in the kitchen so you can open the fridge door and have dinner on the table in no time. By building knowledge of cooking methods and how to use a variety of vegetables, whole foods, spices and herbs. Her favourite way to cook has always been without boundaries and with what needs using. Recipes for the dishes cooked will be written and emailed after the class.
Skills Learned:
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work in pairs in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers. You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up is necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
