The School of Health has partnered with the Natural Cookery School to bring you inspiring nutrition and cookery classes. Learn how to make beautiful healthy food for yourself. Our Autumn Immunity cookery and nutrition workshop is based on Eastern nutrition and naturopathic principles.
The morning will begin with a nutrition session with Lizi where we will discuss how one can support themselves in the autumn months from a naturopathic understanding as well as looking at the benefits of foods and plants that are in season. Then Erin will lead you to the kitchen for a hands-on practical session that puts these principles into practice using local, seasonal and foraged foods that are vital to our bodies going into the colder and darker months.
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work in pairs in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers. You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up is necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
All Natural Cookery School classes are suitable for vegans and most for those who are gluten-free. Please add any dietary requirements or allergy information during the checkout process.
