The School of Health has partnered with the Natural Cookery School to bring you inspiring nutrition and cookery classes. Learn how to make beautiful healthy food for yourself and your clients.


Nourish is a 3 day cookery course is a collaboration between The School of Health and Natural Cookery School focusing on therapeutic healing through whole foods. The course will be based on naturopathic nutrition and include aspects of temperaments, 4 elements, Chinese medicine and Ayurveda. Lizi Rayner will lead the nutrition talks and you will be taught in the kitchen by Erin Baker.

Erin will share her expertise in culinary skills, seasonal foods, and combining ingredients with care, giving you all the tools you need to embrace a health-giving diet that’s packed with flavour and goodness. The recipes will be ones that you can enjoy yourself as well as pass on to your clients and patients.

Lizi will both explore and show you how nourishing whole foods can be applied in real life settings to support clients, and ourselves, at the cellular level.There will be a focus on seasonal factors along with the core foundations at the heart of naturopathic nutrition to show that food can be delicious, nourishing and healing.

  • Ras el hanout sweetheart cabbage with split pea puree and harissa
  • Miso ramen with edamame and seasonal vegetables
  • Baklava stuffed pears with date cardamom caramel
  • Raspberry ripple cheesecake
  • Seedy carrot cake

General Course Details
Recipes will be plant based, gluten free, refined sugar free and vegan. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions when you book.

Tea, coffee, herbal tea and fermented beverages will be available throughout the weekend.

Price includes all meals, ingredients, equipment and three nutrition sessions. Accommodation is not included, please see our Where to Stay page.

Natural Cookery School Classes

Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work in pairs in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers. You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up is necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.

All Natural Cookery School classes are suitable for vegans and most for those who are gluten-free. Please add any dietary requirements or allergy information during the checkout process.
