Hen cookery parties are quickly gaining popularity as a way to have a great time with a close group of friends before the big day. Plan a surprise cookery party for the bride or groom-to-be and teach them how to add some flavour to the marriage.
Learn new techniques and recipes while cooking up a storm, before sitting down together to enjoy delicious homemade food.

Our parties are fun and easy going, and give you a professional demonstration and instruction on the class subject as well as cooking in general. To ensure it stays stress-free for you, we provide all the recipes and equipment – we even do the shopping and the clearing up.
Cookery parties can be held in Natural Cookery School’s kitchen in Nailsworth, in the comfort of your own home or at a hired venue such as a holiday let, village hall or community kitchen. We’ll need space to prepare the food, a place for you and your guests to eat and the use of an oven/hob.
Each session lasts about two hours plus time for eating. Each participant will be fully occupied during this time, so if you’re planning other activities please allow time after the cooking has finished and you’ve eaten.
Hen Cookery Parties cost £300 for four people, plus £50 for each additional person.
