Vintage Tea Parties
Vintage Tea Parties
Step back in time with a vintage tea party, a unique way to spend the afternoon by learning to create sweet and savoury tea time treats. After the cooking is done, sit down and enjoy the spread on classy vintage crockery supplied by Delight Vintage Tea Set Hire.
If you’d like to skip the baking altogether vintage tea parties are also available as a catered event. Please contact Erin for more information.
The vintage tea party menu includes a selection of the following:
- Finger sandwiches
- Mini scones with fresh cream and jam
- Savoury tart or wrap
- Fair trade and organic teas
We’ll cater for plant-based, gluten free, refined sugar-free or any other dietary requirements. Just let us know when booking.
Our parties are fun and easy going, and give you a professional demonstration and instruction on the class subject as well as cooking in general. To ensure it stays stress-free for you, we provide all the recipes and equipment – we even do the shopping and the clearing up.
Vintage tea parties can be held in Natural Cookery School’s professional kitchen in Nailsworth, the comfort of your own home or at a hired venue such as a holiday let, village hall or community kitchen. We’ll need space to prepare the food, a place for you and your guests to eat and the use of an oven/hob.
The cookery party lasts about two hours, as well as time for eating. Each participant will be fully occupied during the party, so please allow for this if you’re planning other activities afterwards.
Vintage Tea Cookery Parties cost £375 for four people, plus £50 for each additional person, including Delight Vintage Tea Set Hire. If you’re interested in booking and would like more information, including the cost of the catered event, or giving a Gift Voucher, please ring Erin on 07809 245675 or use the contact form. Further details can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
