What we eat has a major effect on our well being. In this Nutrition and Cooking For Well Being Class, we will discover how small changes in how you eat can make a difference in how you are feeling. We will have Lucy Kidson, our in house nutritionist, to guide us through the educational aspects of why and how to improve your well being through food then head to the kitchen to put it into practice.
Cooking is a form of nurturing, self care, and mindfulness and is one of the first steps towards optimum well being. Taking time to prepare healthy meals that taste good does so much more than feed you. It boosts self-confidence, it can build bonds cooking with another and it helps keep you in the moment.
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work in pairs in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers. You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up is necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
All Natural Cookery School classes are suitable for vegans and most for those who are gluten-free. Please add any dietary requirements or allergy information during the checkout process.
