Sensational Salads and Moreish Dips

Summer is made for colourful plates of salads and moorish dips. In this evening class we will explore a variety of simple seasonal salads that are healthy, delicious and a snap to make. You will learn the basics of composing a salad, delicious dressings and special little sprinkles that are the perfect finishing touch. These salads are complete enough to eat as a meal, bring along to a bbq or pair with summer favorites. Everyone loves a good dip! We will also create a couple of delicious
- Thai peanut vegetable noodles with crispy tempeh croutons
- Quinoa tabbouleh with chickpeas and sumac seeds
- Greek marinated lentils with olives and crispy capers
- Butterbean, lime and basil hummus
- Romesco – Spanish roasted red pepper and almond spread
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work in small groups in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers... You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
