Make your own Mung bean and kimchi pancakes!
As part of Nailsworth Festival we are inviting you into the kitchen for a Taster Class. Join Erin and the team at the Natural Cookery School for a mini hands-on cookery lesson. Korean food is quickly gaining popularity and we love it. We want to share our favourite Korean recipe, Bindaetteok, with you. Bindaetteok is a savoury Korean pancake made from mung beans and kimchi. These fritter style pancakes are loved by everyone who eats! We will show you the ingredients needed, and show you how to make the batter, you will cook your own and make your own dipping sauce. After making your pancakes, you can sit in the dining room to eat your creations or take them away with you. The pancakes are naturally gluten free and vegan so everyone can enjoy!
Everything is provided including recipes to take home.
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work in pairs in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers. You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up is necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
All Natural Cookery School classes are suitable for vegans and most for those who are gluten-free. Please add any dietary requirements or allergy information during the checkout process.
Please see our Terms & Conditions for last minute cancellations.
Natural Cookery School Gift Vouchers are a great gift for any occasion. They can be sent via email or we can put a printed voucher in the post.
