What we eat has a major effect on our health and wellbeing. In this Nutrition and Cooking For Health class, we will cover how to improve your diet to help with gut health, boost your immune system, improve your digestion and help with changes we experience as we get older including menopause and fatigue. Discover how small changes in how you eat can make a difference in how you are feeling. We will have Lucy Kidson, our in house nutritionist, to guide us through the educational aspects of why and how to improve your well health through food then head to the kitchen to put it into practice.
By giving your meals a healthy overhaul with revitalizing menu choices your health will be boosted. Cooking is a form of nurturing, self care, and mindfulness and is one of the first steps toward optimum health and wellbeing. Taking time to prepare healthy meals that taste good does so much more than feed you. It boosts self-confidence, it can build bonds cooking with another and it helps keep you in the moment. It doesn’t have to break the bank, it just takes awareness of what you put in your body.
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work by yourself unless you are coming with someone in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers... You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
All Natural Cookery School classes are suitable for vegans and most for those who are gluten-free. Please add any dietary requirements or allergy information during the checkout process.
