It’s a hot topic so we’ve brought on board Lucy Kidson, our in house nutritionist, to bring you a class all about nutrition and cooking for Menopause. We all know what we eat affects us in so many ways and this becomes especially important as we ease into changes that our body goes through as we enter menopause. Adapting the way you eat can help ease a variety of symptoms, including hot flushes, tiredness, weight gain, dry skin, depression & poor bone health. This half day class will be a combination of nutritional education and cooking for menopause. Firstly equipping you with nutritional information about what to embrace and what to avoid in your diet, putting the information into action with a hands on cookery lesson. The emphasis will be on nutrition but don’t worry, there will be plenty of flavour!
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work by yourself unless you are coming with someone in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers... You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
