Curry is a global favourite, learn to recreate a variety of plant based curries of the world. We will explore the seductively spiced curries of India, the creamy coconut curries of Thailand and truly special Ethiopian curry. This class will equip you with the knowledge to create spice blends, curry pastes and create delicious curries from around the world.
We will focus on how to add flavour, not just heat using chillies and how to bring out the best in your spices. The recipes are authentic, yet practical enabling you to recreate the dishes at home. You will also learn where to source ingredients, how to make curry pastes and your own spice blends.
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work by yourself unless you are coming with someone in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers... You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
