Get your sombrero out! Our Mexican cookery class is a party for the taste buds, full of fresh ingredients and deeply complex flavours. Spend the day learning about the ancient culture and ingredients and how to use them and where to source them. Dried chillies, beans and masa harina will take centre stage as we create traditional Mexican cuisine. This ain’t no Tex Mex. Erin has a deep-rooted passion for Mexican flavours and techniques from her time spent in Northern California surrounded by Mexican friends, ingredients and influences.
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work by yourself unless you are coming with someone in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers... You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
