Improving your gut health is the single most important thing you can do for a healthy body and mind, In this nutrition and cooking for gut health class, we will have Lucy Kidson, our in house nutritionist, to guide us through the educational aspects of why and how to improve your gut health then head to the kitchen to put it into practice.
A healthy gut is linked to stabilised energy levels, a stronger immune system, improvements in the digestive system, healthy skin and most importantly promotes good mental health. Lucy will guide us through what foods we should be incorporating and those to avoid then over to Erin to create nutrient dense dishes that satisfy your gut biome as well as your taste buds! We will cover the basic techniques of fermentation as well as the difference between prebiotics and probiotics and when and how to eat them.
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work by yourself unless you are coming with someone in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers... You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
All Natural Cookery School classes are suitable for vegans and most for those who are gluten-free. Please add any dietary requirements or allergy information during the checkout process.
