Ethiopian Cooking
Our Ethiopian Cooking cookery class will showcase a range of North African ingredients and cooking techniques. Ethiopian food is now becoming recognised for its depth of flavour and richness found in the dishes. Eating vegetarian and vegan in Ethiopia is very common due to fasting days thus creating a vast selection of delicious plant based dishes. This day course will take you on a journey exploring Ethiopian cooking techniques and ingredients.

Ye’Dubba Alicha – roasted squash in a mild sauce
Ye’abesha gomen – fragrant braised greens
Mesir wat – lentils with Berbere spice blend
Injera – traditional teff sourdough flatbread
Natural Cookery School Classes
Natural Cookery School recipes are inspired by the season. Classes are a combination of hands-on and demonstration, with plenty of added tips and knife skills. You will work in pairs in our teaching kitchen, creating the recipes and tasting along the way. We'll enjoy a shared meal at the end of the class, so please bring a container in case of leftovers. You will be provided with an apron to use for the day and recipe packs to take home. No washing up is necessary as we have someone on hand to take care of that.
All Natural Cookery School classes are suitable for vegans and most for those who are gluten-free. Please add any dietary requirements or allergy information during the checkout process.
