Whether it’s for breakfast or a snack, a smoothie is a great way to incorporate fruit into your diet. I have put together Ten Top Smoothies recipes that are tried and true. Protein powder or your choice can be added to any of them to boost the protein content.

Ten Top Smoothies

Pear & Raspberry Ripple

1/2 banana
1 pear
75g raspberries, fresh or frozen
squeeze of lemon
100ml almond/oat/rice/coconut/soy/dairy milk or apple juice
Freeze the other half of the banana for another day.

Super C

75g strawberries
1/2 small ripe mango or 1/4 large
1 ripe kiwi
juice of one orange
100ml almond/oat/rice/coconut/soy/dairy milk or apple juice

Strawberry Blonde

1 banana
6 strawberries (less if large)
75g pineapple, fresh or frozen
100ml almond/oat/rice/coconut/soy/dairy milk or pineapple juice

Green Elvis

1 banana
1 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
200ml almond/oat/rice/coconut/soy/dairy milk
2 handfuls fresh spinach

Coco Loco

1/2 small ripe mango or 1/4 large
2 cubes of frozen coconut milk
75g pineapple, fresh or tinned in juice
100ml almond/oat/rice/coconut/soy/dairy milk or apple juice
Place a tin of coconut milk in a warm place, open, stir well and pour into an icecube tray. Freeze, remove from tray and place in a container or bag in the freezer.

Purple Power

75g blueberries, fresh or frozen
half ripe avocado
1 banana
100ml almond/oat/rice/coconut/soy/dairy milk or apple juice

Chunky Monkey

1 banana
1 shot of espresso or 100ml double strength coffee
2 ice cubes
2 tsp cocoa powder
2 tsp maple syrup
100ml almond/oat/rice/coconut/soy/dairy milk or apple juice
Coffee and breakfast in one.

Island Dream

1/2 small ripe mango or 1/4 large
1/2 banana
75g pineapple, fresh or tinned in juice
100ml almond/oat/rice/coconut/soy/dairy milk or pineapple juice

Very Berry

75g strawberries, fresh or frozen
75g blueberries, fresh or frozen
75g blackberries, fresh or frozen
100ml almond/oat/rice/coconut/soy/dairy milk or cranberry apple juice

Sunset Kiss

1 banana
50g raspberries, fresh or frozen
juice of one orange
squeeze of lime
100ml almond/oat/rice/coconut/soy/dairy milk or apple juice
